As many of my faithful readers know, I am one paranoid android. I have a lot of sensitive and valuable data that I’ve been meaning to back-up on a remote server, most of which are music files. I was looking for a client that would back my data up automatically in the background when I was connected to the internet without me ever having to worry about it at least once a day.
I tried carbonite and box.net. My experiences were very similar to another disgruntled user, Pernell Ringlebottom. I found that comment and Peter Abilla followed Pernell’s comment suggesting Mozy.
So I tried Mozy, and it does everything that I was looking for. It quietly backs up my data during a scheduled time and its free. I just had to download the application, which needless to say is free of spyware and adware. You can also upgrade if you need more space for just $5 a month. Its a no-brainer.

Adware Alert - No Spyware
I suggest you to take a free scan and remove dangerous spyware and adware from your computer. Even if you think your computer is clean, you should scan and you will be surprised.
